OCTIO's ambition is to support the E&P industry to optimize recovery rate and return on investment. OCTIO will build a full fledge EOR company delivering complete set of services by providing leading edge technology within data acquisition, data processing & interpretation and reservoir monitoring to give the oil companies the data required for their decision making process.

ECM, via Hydro Technology Venture, established Octio Geophysical (member of Octio Group) together with Reservoir Innovation and ION Geophysical in 2007.
Co-investors in Octio Group include GC Rieber Shipping and Reservoir Innovation.
