Proanalysis develops a unique online, optical sensor to accurately and reliably measure oil concentration in water for process- and environmental monitoring.
Increasing water production is a major challenge for Oil & Gas operators worldwide. Consequently, reliable measurements of Oil in Water (OiW) are important, both for monitoring the water treatment process and for monitoring discharges to the environment. In close cooperation with Statoil and Norsk Hydro, ProAnalysis has developed a unique solution for online oil in water monitoring - the Argus technology - meeting the challenging requirements of the offshore market.
The technology was introduced to the Norwegian market in 2005, and is rapidly gaining market acceptance as the leading supplier of OiW monitors in this market. The technology was commercially introduced to the international market in 2008.
