Danotek develops and manufactures a high efficiency, variable speed Permanent Magnet (PM) Generator and electric power converters to the wind industry.
Danotek, based in Michigan US, was founded in 2001 by a strong team with long experienc from GE automotive. The company’s innovative PM generators have the potential to spur the wind equipment market by increasing wind turbine’s efficiency, while radically reducing their maintenance and operating costs.
Danotek has elicited interest from large-scale wind turbine manufacturers globally. End of May 2009, Danotek opened a 40,000 square foot facility in Canton, Michigan with capacity to produce up to 4000 generators per year.
